Dependence of parabolic pulse evolution and compression on SRS threshold

Abstract

Limiting effects caused by Stimulated Raman Scattering on parabolic pulse compression in high power/energy Yb-fiber amplifiers are determined using an analytical model. Numerical simulations verify the analytical results.
