Multi-source phased-array approach to improve the spatial resolution in frequency-domain diffuse optical imaging

Abstract

We present an approach to diffuse optical imaging based on a multi-source phased array of intensity-modulated light sources. Experimental data illustrates the improvement in spatial resolution compared to conventional imaging with a single source-detector pair.
