Abstract

Electroabsorption spectra were measured for GaInNAs and GaInNAsSb quantum wells around 1300 and 1550nm, for use in modulators for telecommunication and optical interconnects. Fine structure of band edge transitions were studied with photoluminescence and electroreflectance.
