Low-noise, CW-pumped holey-fiber based continuum sources around 1300nm

Abstract

We analyzed noise, temporal and spectral-power-density properties of 5.5W, CW Raman-soliton continua with >300nm bandwidth around 1.3µm generated in a holey-fibre pumped by Yb-fibre sources. Fibre-laser and MOPFA pumping configurations are compared.
