Bandwidth tuning in a novel hybrid fiber filter

Abstract

Bandwidth tuning is reported in a novel hybrid waveguide composed of serial concatenation of single mode fiber and hollow optical fiber. Variation of the FWHM in the acousto-optic filter was achieved from 3.2 to 100nm by changing RF frequency.
