We demonstrate electro-optic spectral tuning in an optical parametric oscillator employing a segmented periodically poled LiNbO3 crystal. The signal and idler waves obtained, are difference-frequency-mixed to produce mid-IR tunable from 10.5 to 9.4 μm.
