Nanosecond >4-Micron PPLN OPO Pumped by a Yb Fiber Laser

Abstract

We demonstrated the first >4-micron PPLN OPO directly pumped by a Yb fiber laser. We achieved 130mW average output power at 4153 nm, which is the highest reported >4-um OPO power based on fiber laser.
