High power laser diode array module with 145 kW peak power for inertial fusion energy driver

Abstract

A quasi-cw AlGaAs laser diode array module with peak power of 145 kW was developed. High electrical to optical conversion efficiency of 52 % and stable wavelength characteristic was achieved with the efficient cooling system.
