A 3-mm-thick, periodically poled 5-mol%-MgO:LiNbO3 device was fabricated for high energy optical parametric oscillation. Total energy of 22 mJ for both 1.82-μm-signal and 2.56-μm-idler was measured at input pump energy of 46 mJ.
