A pulsed laser-source for MIR-LIDAR

Abstract

The performance of a new pulsed laser-source for MIR-LIDAR based on difference-frequency generation in PPLN is demonstrated. High output power is achieved using a fiber amplifier in combination with a Cr4+:Nd3+:YAG microchiplaser.
