Broadband, lossless DCF utilizing single pump Raman amplification

Abstract

Broadband, flat-gain Raman amplification using single pump is reported in an asymmetrical twin-core fiber. Designed fiber also has a very high negative dispersion coefficient and thus serves as a lossless dispersion-compensating module over 35-nm bandwidth.
