A 25×10 GHz modelocked Erbium-doped fiber laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a room-temperature fiber laser with simultaneous modelocking of 25 wavelengths at 10 GHz. The multiwavelength emission is achieved using a frequency-shifter and a Fabry-Perot filter giving weakly-chirped 18 ps output pulses.
