Raman Gain measurements of thallium-tellurium oxide glasses

Abstract

Several different compositions of tellurium-thallium glasses were fabricated and tested for their Raman gain performance. The maximum Raman gain experimentally obtained was (58 ± 3) higher than the peak Raman gain of fused silica.
