Abstract

We demonstrate a 16GHz analog heterodyne FM link with pre-emphasis operating at 1540nm wavelength, with a NF of (40 ± 1)dB and SFDR of (108 ± 2)dB-Hz2/3, employing a WIRNA receiver to reduce phase noise.
