Abstract

Gas-filled hollow-core photonic crystal fiber (HC-PCF) is hermetically spliced to standard single-mode fiber with low insertion-loss. A hydrogen-filled HC-PCF based quasi-CW Raman converter and an acetylene-filled HC-PCF based frequency stabilization system are reported.
