A Novel PDL-free All-fiber Acousto-optic Wavelength Monitor

Abstract

A compact all-fiber wavelength monitor with a resolution of 0.01 nm was demonstrated using a fiber acousto-optic tunable filter. The polarization-dependent wavelength shift was eliminated through the use of a fiber Sagnac interferometer.
