All Optical Histology Using Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Abstract

We discuss the use of femtosecond laser pulses for serial histology. Successive iterations of multiphoton imaging and ablation provide diffraction-limited volumetric data that is used to reconstruct the architectonics of labeled cells or microvasculature.
