Abstract

We demonstrate retiming of pulses by orthogonal-polarized control pulses co-propagating in an anomalous-dispersion polarization-maintaining fiber. Through walk-off free cross-phase modulation in 500-m-long fiber, 2.2-ps pulses at 10-GHz-rate are retimed by as much as ±2 ps.
