Proof-of-concept Free-space 3D All-optical Cross-connect Based on 3-state MEMS

Abstract

We demonstrate a 4x8 free-space 3D OXC architecture based on a White cell that uses a digital MEMS. We use manually reconfigurable mirrors for the MEMS. Experimental loss, redundancy and beam quality results are presented.
