Demonstration of First Order Gratings in Titanium Diffused Waveguides on Lithium Niobate

Abstract

We demonstrate a first order low loss waveguide grating based on titanium diffused lithium niobate (LiNbO3) waveguides. Reflectivity greater than 80% is achieved with a null-to-null bandwidth of 20 GHz.
