Phase-shift effect on a two-dimensional surface-emitting photonic-crystal laser

Abstract

We analyzed the effect of a phase shift on a two-dimensional surface-emitting photonic crystal laser. It was shown that a single-lobed beam with linear polarization could be achieved for the crystal with elliptical air holes.
