All-fiber soliton source tunable over 500 nm

Abstract

We report a compact 200-fs all-fiber source tunable from 1050 nm to 1550 nm based on Raman effect in a highly nonlinear photonic-crystal-fiber that allows to completely bridge the spectral gap between erbium and ytterbium.
