Abstract

We demonstrate a compact, self-contained continuous-wave supercontinuum laser based on the addition of a highly-nonlinear fiber inside the Er/Yb-codoped fiber ring-resonator clad-pumped by low-cost, multi-mode 975nm LDs. A supercontinuum of a 470nm bandwidth is achieved.
