Single Fiber Confocal Microscope Using a Two-Axis Microscanner for Cellular Imaging

Abstract

We present a single fiber reflectance confocal microscope with a 2D MEMS gimbaled scanner. Achieved lateral and axial resolutions are 1.0×1.4 μm and 19 μm, respectively. The field of view is 140×100 μm at 8 frames/second.
