Magnetic Field-Sensitive Polarization Anisotropy in One-Dimensional Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors

Abstract

Highly sensitive control of anisotropic optical polarization in CdMnTe quantum wires has been studied theoretically using multi-band effective mass method. A magnetic field dramatically changes the transition probability via the sp-d exchange interaction.
