Abstract

A flexible saturable-absorber mirror was piezoelectrically vibrated for Q-switching of a laser-diode-pumped Nd3+:YVO4 microchip laser. The double Q-switch led to increase of the peak pulse-power and of the repetitive-pulse stability in power and rate.
