Photonic True Time Delay Using Air-Guiding Photonic Bandgap Fibers

Abstract

We propose a novel implementation of true time delay(TTD) using highly dispersive(800ps/km.nm), air-guiding photonic bandgap fibers(PBGFs) which has advantages of low insertion cost, compact size, high immunity to nonlinear effects, and low temperature sensitivity.
