Abstract

A new Brewster cut Acousto-Optic Programmable Gain Control Filter combined with an AOPDF pulse shaper optimizes the spectral losses of a 10Hz CPA Ti:Sapphire regenerative amplifier to obtain 18fs duration, 1.2%-rms stability, 107 contrast ratio.
