We generate ultrabroadband self-phase-stabilized near-IR pulses by difference-frequency generation of a hollow-fiber broadened supercontinuum followed by two-stage optical parametric amplification. Energies up to 20 µJ are demonstrated and a route for energy scaling is indicated.
