Slow and Fast Light Using Master-Modulated Injection-Locked VCSELs

Abstract

Slow and fast light are achieved using novel master-modulated injection-locked 1.55 µm VCSELs at room-temperature. We achieve a full RF phase change of 2π at >10 GHz over a wide bandwidth ~ 8 GHz.
