Residual Pump Peak Removal for Ultra-Flattened Supercontinuum Generation by Photonic Crystal Fibers

Abstract

We demonstrate residual pump peak removal in supercontinuum generation using a fiber bragg grating followed by nonlinear flattening in photonic crystal fibers. We measure the pump power in a supercontinuum before removal to be <10%.
