Self-diffraction of a femto-second Laguerre-Gaussian beam in a dye polymer

Abstract

We have demonstrated self-diffraction of femto-second Laguerre Gaussian modes for the first time. Experimental diffraction efficiency of ~9% was obtained. Addition of angular momentum was also seen in diffraction beam.
