Long-Distance Distribution of Time-Bin Entangled Photon Pairs Generated in Optical Fiber Cooled by Liquid Nitrogen

Abstract

I report the first experiment on 1.5-μm band entanglement generation in a cooled fiber. Low-noise time-bin entangled photon pairs were successfully generated and distributed over 60 km of fiber with a raw visibility of 76%.
