Complex-pulse characterization using a one dimensional scheme

Abstract

We show that complex pulses can be measured using intensity autocorrelation, fundamental and second harmonic spectra (or with the first and second order interferometric autocorrelations). Our approach also differentiates pulses with indistinguishable autocorrelation and fundamental spectrum.
