Abstract

Guided-mode resonant (GMR) structure using hexagonal-lattice grating is proposed to enhance angular tolerance of resonances at oblique incidence. Exciting radial-propagation modes, resonances with high angular tolerance (~1°) and narrow spectral bandwidth (~0.3 nm) are achieved.
