Protein Microarray Analysis using Surface Optical Wave Resonance in Photonic Band Gap Multilayers

Abstract

A label-free optical method of analyzing protein reactions in microarrays is demonstrated. The technique is based on the resonant excitation of surface optical waves in photonic band gap multilayers.
