An Interferometric Method for Dynamic Extinction Ratio Measurement

Abstract

We introduce a novel interferometric method for dynamic extinction ratio measurement of temporally demultiplexed pulses by using a high extinction modulator. The resulting extinction ratio is 44dB. Our method has a dynamic range of ~60dB.
