Improved degenerate four wave mixing for measuring complex χ(3)

Abstract

We report improvements on a technique for measuring the complex χ(3) of nonlinear polymers using a 2D phase grating and degenerate four wave mixing. These improvements produce a factor of 100 increase in the signal to noise ratio.
