Single Photon Emission from Spatially Controlled Periodic Arrays of II-VI Quantum Dots

Abstract

We have developed a means of spatially organizing II-VI colloidal quantum dots into periodically patterned templates with high accuracy. Individual quantum dots are readily accessible by photoexcitation and show single photon emission with antibunching characteristics.
