We demonstrate photonic crystal nanocavity laser with nearly-single quantum dot gain. Continuous-wave lasing was achieved at photocarrier generation rate of 5 x 10<sup>9</sup>/s, corresponding to several carrier injection into nearly-single quantum dot.
