Diffractive optic near-field interference based fabrication of telecom band diamond-like 3-dimensional photonic crystals

Abstract

A single laser exposure method of fabricating three-dimensional polymer photonic crystal having large number of layers has been demonstrated using a novel multi-layer diffractive optical element. Strong photonic stopbands are reported in the telecom band.
