Low-power and fast switching in III-V Photonic Crystals

Abstract

We report on recent advancements in membrane photonic crystals based on III-V semiconductors. We fabricated highly nonlinear waveguides with low insertion losses and demonstrate ultra-fast all-optical response to ultra-low energy excitation in resonant cavities.
