Ultra-Violet Guiding in High-Order Transmission Window of Hollow-Core Optical Fiber

Abstract

A hollow-core fiber exhibiting three transmission windows from the NIR to the UV was designed and characterized. A good agreement between computed and measured loss was obtained. 2 dB/m loss was demonstrated at 0.355 µm-wavelength.
