Abstract

We present a mid-infrared frequency comb based on a synchronously-pumped, femtosecond optical parametric oscillator. The idler (signal) is continuously tunable from 2.8–4.8 µm (1.76–1.37 µm) with a maximum average output power of 1.50 W.
