Performance Analysis of a Multiwavelength CW Laser Based on Supercontinuum Generation for WDM-PONs

Abstract

A supercontinuum-based multiwavelength laser is proposed and tested in a realistic WDM-PON scenario. BER comparison with commercial multiple channel laser array confirms this multiwavelength laser as a strong candidate for WDM-PON applications.
