Abstract

Real time multiphoton excitation fluorescence microscopy of enhanced yellow fluorescent protein was performed with low photobleaching using a femtosecond Yb:KGd(WO4)2 laser. Using a conventional Ti:S laser this was previously unfeasible due to low excitation efficiency.
