Environmentally-stable nonlinear chirped-pulse fiber amplifier

Abstract

A femtosecond fiber system based on nonlinear chirped-pulse amplification is investigated. The amplifier is completely integrated, which requires careful management of nonlinearity. High-quality 500-fs pulses with 5 µJ energy are generated.
