Infrared Stimulated Parametric Emission Microscopy

Abstract

A femtosecond four-wave mixing microscopy was applied to image electronically resonant species, and to measure nonlinear susceptibilities. The parametric emission signal from dye molecules is resistant to photobleaching, making this technique attractive for biological samples.
