High-Order Resonant Modes in an Antenna Coupled Terahertz 2D Plasmonic Detector

Abstract

We demonstrate excitation of terahertz 2D plasmons in a grating-gated transistor at the vertex of a broadband antenna. This functions as a plasmonic crystal, with modes associated with both the grating period and channel length.
