Fiber-based spectroscopy of 1.55 µm PbS Quantum Dots coupled to Si Microcavities

Abstract

We use a fiber-taper waveguide to measure the transmission, photoluminescence, photo-darkening, and lifetime from a low density of near-infrared PbS quantum dots integrated with silicon photonic crystal cavities, microdisks, and the taper itself.
